Over Long Mynd & Stiperstones – against the clock!
The 33rd Annual Time Trial on Foot
Sunday 29th November 2020
Possibility of cancellation
A final decision concerning this years’ Time Trial will be announced on 31st October.
At the moment it seems likely that the organised ‘Time Trial’, scheduled for Sunday 29th November, will have to be cancelled because of difficulties in how to manage arrangements on the day in the light of Covid-19 protocols and related concern – not least around access to Little Stretton Village Hall, the perceptions of the villagers and the use of a Finish to Start bus service. But let’s see how things develop during September.
But all may not be lost: IF the event is cancelled details will be posted about how you would be able to submit a 2020 time as an ‘Independent Time Trialer’ – for the sake of the historical record. That is, a time for an independent self-organised crossing under self-timed conditions – in the manner that many do for a recce or in training.
